"why won't you fix 708's to pre update status...it worked then ( 1yr ) now they fail "

 What happened? Aren't you still able to use your older software backup SD cards that you created for it in the past until you can  get the issue figured out? I would have started out with a brand new SD card in it with a copy of my older backup software on it ( so I could at least pop it in the card reader of my PC and use the DS 708 software suite to update the car makes

  All the lights are on for 5 Billion People in China making and selling products  but seems like product support after the sale is next to non existent.

 You can't get support to reply to questions or able to download anything if you have not registered the unit and are past the 1year free update period .  All software backups and working spare backup software cards should have been created while unit software was working correctly and still within the free update period.
